Hors D'oeuvres

What is the meaning of Hors D'oeuvres? It is appetizers, starters, or the first course, are food items served before the main courses of a meal. These foods are usually small items that may be served at a formal reception.

CANAPES


It is defined as bite-size open faced sandwiches. They consist of tiny portions of food presented on bases of bread, toast, or pastry. They are perfect finger food, easily handled and easily eaten. It also foods that look like it's really fancy, the way they arrange the food to make it look elegant. They usually cost a lot too.

DEVILED EGG

Hard-boiled eggs cut in half and filled with the hard-boiled egg's yolk mixed usually with mayonnaise and mustard. Deviled eggs are usually served cold. They are served as a side dish, appetizer or a main course, and are a common holiday or party food.

COLD CUT

 Cold cuts are cheeses or precooked or cured meat, often sausages or meat loaves, that are sliced and usually served cold on sandwiches or on party trays.

NACHOS

 Nachos are tortilla chips or totopos covered in melted cheese and salsa
